　　留学申请书个人陈述1　　As a child I often accompanied my father to his small coin shop and spent hours watching him work. When I was older, I sometimes set up displays, waited on customers, and even balanced the books. This experience instilled in me the desire to own and manage my own business someday, yet I understand that the business world today is more complex. This complexity requires more education, and with that in mind, I am applying to the Master’s of Business Administration program at Indiana University Bloomington (IUB).

　　In addition to my helping out in my father’s business, I have had numerous other work experiences that further enhance my qualifications for this program. My resume enumerates the various positions I have held at Kerasotes Theaters, Chili’s restaurants, and Indiana University’s new Student Recreational Sports Center (SRSC), and what all of these positions have in common is an emphasis on serving the public fectively. Further, as an assistant manager at the Showplace 11 and a staff coordinator at the SRSC, I have gained valuable expertise in managing employees and creating work schedules. Both of these positions have allowed me to develop my sales and people skills, which are extremely important in an increasingly service-driven marketplace.

　　Not all of my work experience has been as a paid employee. Part of my volunteering experience at Middleway House, the local battered women’s shelter, involved extensive work on computers, including word processing, organizing databases and creating spreadsheets. Also, I recently participated in an internship program for academic credit with the Eli Lilly corporation in the personnel division. As a management intern, I was able to watch the workings of a major corporation up close and would like the opportunity to combine my experiences with the theoretical background available in the MBA program at IUB, with its emphasis on computers, marketing and human resources.

　　My successful internship is one element of my overall academic success as an undergraduate here at IUB, yet I have also made time for a variety of extracurricular activities, including working for my sorority and competing in intramural basketball. My positive experiences here have resulted in my desire to stay in Bloomington to continue my academic endeavors; furthermore, continuing my education here would allow me to make important business contacts, with the career goal of opening my own computer consulting firm in the Midwest.

　　留学申请书个人陈述2　　I graduated from the major of Material Science and Engineering in Sichuan University of Science and Engineering as a provincial level outstanding graduate in June 2015. I would like to further my study in your university as a doctoral student. If accepted, my intended professional direction would be Material Science and Engineering.

　　During my college life, I have won the national scholarship and the first-class academic scholarship for three times. I was admitted to Chongqing University for pursuing my master degree after passing the unified national postgraduate entrance exam in June 2015. Now, I’m a first-year postgraduate student in Chongqing University, majored in Material Science and Engineering. I hope to become a professor with my own laboratory and scientific research team. Of course, it is not easy to realize the goal and I need to pay great efforts. However, as long as I work hard, this goal will finally come true. Reading a great number of literatures has enabled me to stand on the shoulders of others and obtain enough knowledge about the field of my research direction.

　　Meanwhile, it is more important to summarize the experimental methods, analytical measures, traditional concepts and new ideas about the experimental phenomenon, which could give me a more systematized and comprehensive insight. To master relevant laboratory equipment is another important thing for me. I can find the operator to assist me, but operating the equipment by myself can guarantee the best results from the experiment. Absolutely, genuine knowledge comes from practice, and practice enhances one’s ability. Therefore, after forming the idea of myself, doing relevant experiment is necessary to verify and negate the idea or find somenew ideas and conclusions. After having some new interesting discoveries and ideas, I will write some papers to share with other scientific researchers.

　　As a young boy, I like sports especially basketball. Playing basketball gives me a lesson that team cooperation may be the most important thing and no one can do everything. Ienjoy being trusted by my team and I am willing to trust others. Besides, traveling in some places with beautiful scenery is not a bad choice because it can make me feel relaxed and happy. I love learning and the acquisition of newknowledge drives me to learn more. Like other children, I dream of becoming a scientist who stands in the nearest place from the god and leads the progress of science and technology when I was young and I have been struggling toward this goal. With the deepening of my study, my enthusiasm to science has never been reduced. In contrast, I have great passion for doing research to find, explainand use the rule of the objective world. However, I realize that just being apostgraduate is far from enough to achieve my goal. Therefore, to further my study in your university as a doctoral student is a good choice. If accepted, my intended professional direction also would be Material Science and Engineering.
